COMPACT BILOCULAR FREQUENCY-ADAPTIVE ELECTRIC PACEMAKER WITH AUTOMATIC STIMULATION MODE FUNCTION AND EXTENSIVE STATISTICS

The “BAIKAL-DR” DDDR-type Implantable Bilocular Telemetering Frequency-adaptive Electric Pacemaker is intended for treatment of cardiac rhythm disorders by electric stimulation of ventricles and atriums. The Electric Pacemaker includes an activity transducer (sensor control), allowing to increase frequency of stimulating impulses depending on physical activity of the patient.

Adopts unipolar or bipolar electrodes with IS-1 (3.2 mm) standard tips.

Programmable by means of UNI programmers.

The pacemaker implements the next functions:
- automatic switch of stimulation mode with constant analysis of activity within refractory periods;
- extensive statistics of the events’ array displayed as convenient histograms and protection against pacemaker-mediated tachycardias;
- time programming with pulse rate of 30 … 460 ppm;
- measurement of electrode impedance of 200 to 3000 ohm;
- extra stimulation mode with maximum amplitude and widht of stimulative pulse.

Telemetering information:

  • programmable parameters of stimulation;
  • battery condition;
  • electrode’s impedance;
  • event’s marker.

Statistics:

  • imposed events (A and V channels);
  • perceived events (A-V channels);
  • combination of imposed / perceived events;
  • switchovers of stimulation mode.
