In the period from March 9th to March 15th 2007, the delegation of “Izhevsky Mekhanichesky Zavod”
FSUE took part in the annual International Gun Show IWA-2007 (Nuremberg, Germany).
This year Izhevsky Mekhanichesky Zavod presented a significantly upgraded collection of the sporting and
hunting weapons. The focus was made on the products with artistic embellishment, their quantity, if compared to the last year’s
exhibition, being increased twofold.
The participants and visitors of the exhibition were able to see novel types of air guns: the “Drozd”
machine-pistol featuring a high capacity hopper type magazine that accommodates 400 ball bullets, the newly designed stylish
MP-512 air rifle along with other products.
Participation in this Show allowed IMZ to assess the situation in the gun market, obtain the evaluation of
the new BAIKAL gun models, and also determined the prospective and trends of the company’s further development.
